This is a video demonstration of how I worked the Pinhole cast on and setup rounds on a cable needle and using magic loop for my hat patterns ‘Quinzhee Beanie’ and ‘Garter Squish’ Beanie.
I presume that you have a working knowledge of how to knit in the round using the magic loop method. I have tried to make the process as clear as possible and hope that you find it useful! Being able to use the Pinhole cast on technique without double pointed needles (DPN’s) is super handy as you don’t need to purchase endless sizes of DPN’s if you are then to go on and work on a longer circular needle anyway!
Hope you find this useful!
